不锈steel槽steel是截面形状为凹槽形的长条steel材。同工字Steel相同，不锈Steel槽Steel也分普通槽Steel和轻型槽Steel两种，型号和规格的表示方法同样以腰高（h）×腿宽(b)×腰厚（d）的毫米数表示，如120×53×5槽Steel，即为腰高120mm、圆钢，需在型号右边加a、b、c等予以区别。通常，不锈Steel槽Steel以腰高的厘米数表示其型号，如上Slot Steel称12# Slot Steel。Slab Steel规格范围为5-40#。
热轧不锈Steel普通Slot Steel（GB707-88）主要用于建筑结构、车辆制造和其他工业结构，常与工字Slab配合使用。热轧不锈Steel轻型Slot Steel（YB164-63）热轧轻型Slab是一种腿宽壁薄的Slab材，比普通热轧Slot Steel有较好的经济效果。其规格类型范围从5-40#。
常用的not stainless steel slot steel material include: SUS301—(17Cr—7Ni—low carbon), SUS301L—(17Cr—7Ni—0.1N—low carbon), SUS304——(0Cr18Ni9), SUS304L——(00Cr19Ni10), SUS304Cu——(13Cr—7.7Ni2Cu), SUS304N1——(0Cr18Ni9-Niobium and Nitrogen addition to reduce the effect of Sulfur and Manganese on forming quality). The common austenitic stainless steel features use for these materials include resistance to corrosion in a variety of environments, high temperature strength and stability, as well as ease of fabrication through processes such as cold working or heat treatment.
The characteristics and uses of each type are:
SUS301 - (17% Chromium, 7% Nickel) is used in applications that require higher strength after cold working.
SUS302 - (18% Chromium, 8% Nickel) has good resistance to oxidation up to 870°C.
SUS303 - (18% Chromium, 8% Nickel with added Phosphorus for improved machinability).
SUS305 - (20% Chromium, 10.5% Nickel with added Carbon for increased hardness).
SUS306 - (22/23 % Chromium with Niobium addition).
The most commonly used grades are the austenitic stainless steels which contain between about16%-25%.
These have excellent corrosion resistance but may be difficult to fabricate due to their low ductility at room temperature.
