你知道吗？中国人民大学中国调查与数据中心（NSRC） recently conducted a nationwide survey of 3114 residents aged 18-60 to gauge the public's perception of technological innovation, and presented their findings in the report "洞察科技脉动，构筑创新桥梁" at a conference on September 11th. The report highlights that while there is high recognition and satisfaction for achievements in areas like 5G communication, consumer internet, aerospace, and rail transportation (averaging scores above 4.5), other fields such as industrial internet, artificial intelligence with big models, and biomedicine have lower overall scores (below 4).
According to China Academy of Sciences' strategic consultant researcher Zhou Chengxiong, this suggests that related technologies haven't yet fully benefited the general public. To address this gap between technology advancement and societal impact, it's crucial to integrate these innovations into real-world scenarios.
The study also shows that respondents appreciate contributions from research institutions (scoring an average of 4.43 points), private enterprises (average score: 4.29 points), universities (average score: not mentioned) and government agencies in scientific research innovation.
In terms of evaluating corporate innovation outcomes, top-scoring companies such as Huawei, DJI Technology Co., Ltd., BYD Company Limited received high praise from the public alongside second-tier players like Tencent Holdings Ltd., iFlytek Inc., Xiaomi Corp.
Researchers suggest five strategies for fostering further development:
Enhance collaboration among education systems to create synergies between education policies.
Implement more refined policy frameworks balancing growth with safety considerations.
Strengthen enterprise roles in driving technological progress through entrepreneurship spirit reinforcement.
Pursue international cooperation on technology exchanges while maintaining security standards.
Cultivate an environment promoting respect for knowledge; encourage innovative thinking; embrace failure within society.
